Changing a regging

It's important you get the regging correct at this stage. If you later make changes to the regging, then any image processing that has been done to reg drawings may no longer be correct; if so, reprocessing is required, and any inking and painting that you've done will be lost. These changes include:

Changing the inputs to a Register To node - either disconnecting them, or adding extra inputs

: In this case a warning panel appears, advising you to undo your change if you wish to preserve the regging links.

Moving drawings used in the regging - for example by changing the position of a drawing with a Transform-type node.

Retiming any drawings used in the regging.

However, you don't need to reprocess the drawings involved for these changes:

Using the Order column to change the ordering of the Register To node's inputs.

Changing the type of regging a drawing uses, as set in the Register To node's Properties window - for example changing reg-to drawings from Ink & Paint to a BG line.
